Shanghai

Boasting a fine location on the coast of the Yellow Sea, Shanghai also lies at the mouth of the Yangtze River. Perhaps the most diverse of any Chinese city, it has adopted local, European and contemporary influences over centuries. Join one of our Shanghai tours and you’ll be able to take in this incredible mix for yourself. See traditional shikumen buildings before delving among the glittering towers of Lujiazui. Stroll along with the art deco wonders of the Bund waterfront, before dining on the region’s phenomenal cuisine. Take the opportunity to see the city from another viewpoint, by joining a cruise along the Huangpu River. Then take in the actual treasure that lies within the Jade Buddha Temple. With culture in mind, you could also explore Suzhou, a bastion of Wu history for more than 800 years. Or you could simply start your day with a bang with a city breakfast tour. Our Shanghai tours are an excellent introduction to the many faces of this extraordinary city. The only real question is how soon you can visit!
