Cairo

Our Cairo tours have been created to help visitors unravel what can be a complicated city to navigate by themselves. So trust in our professional team of expert local guides to direct you to the very best that the Egyptian capital has to offer. There are the unmissable Great pyramids of Giza, the only surviving ancient wonder of the world, alongside the mysterious Sphinx. But on the same horizon, you’ll also stop the stepped pyramid of Saqqara, which began the entire pyramid-building craze. Only a short distance away is the ancient capital of Egypt, Memphis, whose ruins have to been seen to be believed, as are the treasures housed in a series of rejuvenated museum spaces. Our Cairo tours can then take you beyond the showstopping sights to modern-day Egypt. Rub shoulders with residents doing their daily shopping at the giant Khan el Khalili bazaar, before enjoying traditional cuisine in a local restaurant. Spend some time getting to know Cairo with Tourist Journey, and you won’t regret your decision to do so.
