Day 1 - Arrival in San José
- Once you've made your way to San José, head to your hotel to drop your suitcases and explore, or take the day to rest up for your upcoming adventures!
- Overnight in San José.
Day 2 - San José (Private Tour)
- Start your adventures off with an insider tour of the city, stopping at all the highlights with your expert guide as you explore every hidden corner.
- Your first stop is at the National Theater, standing since 1897 and not only a jewel of the city, but a national treasure as well.
- Continue to the expansive exhibitions at the Gold Museum, and then wander the winding alleys of the Central Market, admiring the handicrafts on display.
- Your next stop is the Metropolitan Cathedral, a neoclassical monument that was originally built in 1802, and then rebuilt after a devastating earthquake.
- You'll also stop at the University of Costa Rica, the Old Train Station, the Supreme Electoral Tribune, and the Legislative Assembly.
- Finish your day of exploring the city and its culture, economy, and politics, and return to your hotel for some well-deserved rest.

Day 3 - Poás Volcano, Doka Coffee, and La Paz Waterfall (Private Tour)
- Your guide will meet you in your hotel to pick you up in a private vehicle and make your way to the Doka Coffee Plantation for a tour.
- Learn how these little beans help support the country's economy, discover why this coffee is so famous, and walk through leafy rows of bushes.
- Continue to the verdant cloud forest and hike to the Poás Volcano, enjoying the scenery and rich biodiversity before standing next to one of the world's largest craters.

Day 4 - Monteverde Cloud Forest (Private Tour)

- Trek across the bridges suspended in its canopies, taking time to admire the 1,000 different species of orchids that grow here along with the adorable wildlife.

Day 5 - Free Day in San José
- Enjoy a free day in the city to explore its many avenues and attractions, or take some of our tours that leave from San José, like rafting the Pacuare River, trekking through the Venado Caves, or glide on a catamaran in Manuel Antonio.

Day 6 - Sloth Experience and Hot Springs at Arenal Volcano (Shared Group Tour)
- Make your way to San Ramon for a traditional breakfast buffet and a tour of the lush gardens in the town while you enjoy scenic views of the Pacific beyond.
- Head out La Fortuna to make your way to the Sloth Observatory, driving along a lush mountain road surrounded by rolling hills and greenery.
- Hike through the forests that surround the enclosure with an expert naturalist, and then visit the sloths themselves and learn all about these cuddly creatures.
- Tour the town of La Fortuna, and then drive to the largest complex of natural hot springs in the world for some free time and relaxation.
- Enjoy a buffet lunch and then explore the pools and gardens that cover the volcano, soaking in the secluded pools, or using the slides!
- After a couple of hours at the pools, your driver will take you back to your hotel to rest after a long day of adventures!
