Our 2 Day Petra & Wadi Rum Tour from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem will take you through the awe-inspiring Wadi Rum desert to the ancient city of Petra. Your tour will start bright and early, when you’ll make your way through the inspiring Negev Desert in Israel towards the southernmost city of Israel, Eilat. From Eilat, you will transfer over the Jordanian border to the resort city of Aqaba. You will have time to explore the city of Aqaba before heading to the Mars-like Wadi Rum desert, where home for the night will be a Bedouin campsite. You’ll be spoiled with authentic Bedouin hospitality that the desert nomadic group is renowned for. As the day cools, you’ll enjoy an exhilarating desert Jeep safari and be spellbound by the otherworldly surroundings. At nighttime, you’ll relish in a traditional Bedouin meal, including Bedouin barbeque, salads, and bread, under the infamous star-studded Jordanian sky.

Until August 31st, 2025 - Day 1 - Aqaba & Wadi Rum
  • 00:00 - The transfer to Eilat will be via public transport (Egged) from Tel Aviv Savidor Train Station. Departure is at midnight
  • 5:00 AM - Arrival in Eilat
  • After arrival, you will receive a complimentary breakfast in a local coffee shop
  • 7:45 AM - You will be picked up by our representative. Head to the Arava border crossing and cross to Jordan
  • 09:15 – Head towards Aqaba from the border for free time to explore the market
  • Please note: During this time, there will be a range of activities on offer for an additional charge. This includes a visit to a private beach and pool, or a boat ride on the Red Sea
  • 14:30 – Transfer to Wadi Rum
  • 17:00 – Jeep Safari in Wadi Rum
  • 19:00 – Check in to Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum. Enjoy free time in Wadi Rum
  • 20:00 – Authentic Jordanian Dinner at the Bedouin Camp including traditional Zarb (Bedouin barbecue), spreads, salads, bread and more
Until August 31, 2025 - Day 2 - Petra
  • 07:00 – Breakfast at leisure in the Bedouin campsite & transfer to Petra and enjoy a quick view of Mount Haroun on the way
  • 11:00 – Arrive in Petra and begin a guided tour of the famous sites
  • Free time in Petra including the time to explore the Monastery
  • Head back to the Arava border crossing
  • 17: 00 - You will be picked up by our representative at the Arava Border Crossing (Israeli side), and head to the Central Bus Station in Eilat
  • 19:00 - Depart Eilat to Tel Aviv
  • 00:23 - Arrival at La Guardia Bus Station - Please note that it is only possible to arrive at that location
From September 1st, 2025 - Day 1 - Aqaba & Wadi Rum
  • 02:00 – Meet our team in Tel Aviv, transfer by road from Tel Aviv to Eilat through the Negev Desert - This will be a dedicated transfer to the Arava border crossing in Eilat (not public transportation)
  • 08:00 – Border crossing into Jordan with assistance, cross early to avoid the crowds
  • 09:15 – Head towards Aqaba from the border for free time to explore the market
  • Please note: During this time, there will be a range of activities on offer for an additional charge. This includes a visit to a private beach and pool, or a boat ride on the Red Sea
  • 14:30 – Transfer to Wadi Rum
  • 17:00 – Jeep Safari in Wadi Rum

  • 11:00 – Arrive in Petra and begin a guided tour of the famous sites
  • 12:00 – Free time in Petra including the time to explore the Monastery
  • 16:30 – Meet at the exit of Petra
  • 16:45 – Return journey back to border Eilat, transport back from the border crossing
  • 18:30 - Arrive at the border crossing
  • 19:30 - Return to Eilat side of the border, head back to Tel Aviv - This will be a dedicated transfer from the Arava border crossing in Eilat to Tel Aviv (not public transportation)
  • 01:30 - Arrive in Tel Aviv

Until August 31, 2025: Please note that the only meeting point for departure is the Savidor Bus Station in Tel Aviv, the only drop off point will be La Guardia Bus Station in Tel Aviv
Please note, border fees and visa fees are NOT included in the tour price and are paid directly at the border, in cash. Border fee is for departure tax from Israel, the departure tax for operated groups from Jordan, arrangement, and preparation of Jordan visa, assistance service from border representative on departure from Israel, assistance service from border representative on arrival in Jordan and assistance service from border representative on departure from Jordan
If you choose to stay in the hotel instead of camp on day 1, please note dinner is not included

In winter months, overnight might be in hotel in Aqaba (in double room) due to low temperatures in the Bedouin camp.
