This Osaka Tour from Osaka and Kyoto will cover the most popular sites of the city. Learn all about the history of this magnificent city, and enjoy a relaxing river cruise. You will have the option to be collected from Kyoto, or meet at Osaka. Once the group has met in Osaka, your guide will lead you to the Aerial Garden Observatory. Located in the Umeda district, this observatory is 170 meters high and boasts 360 degree vistas across the city. At lunch time we will sit down to eat a tasty western style buffet lunch at a hotel. The next visit on the itinerary will be Osaka Castle. Constructed in 1583 the castle was originally built under Toyotomi rule by 100,000 soldiers and is steeped in a regal history. Beyond the grandeur of the castle itself, guests can also enjoy the garden which is home to 600 cherry trees making it a phenomenal destination to visit during early April when the trees come into full bloom. In contrast to the rest of the city, Osaka offers a distinct tranquillity which has been at the centre of the local community since the early 20th century. After you have spent most of the day walking around Osaka, it will be time to relax on a river cruise. This cruise takes one hour and offers a different view of the city’s historic sites. The cruise will bring the tour to an end, and you will be transported back to either Osaka Station or Kyoto Station.
