Day 1 - Arrival in Hanoi
- Enjoy your first taste of Vietnam with your arrival in Hanoi, being met by your private driver at the airport and taken to the hotel for check in.
- Once you've finished, rest after the flight and take the day to explore Hanoi on your own.
- Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2 - Eco Tour Near Hanoi and Transfer to Mai Chau Valley
- Have some breakfast before heading into the Vietnamese countryside and the house of Mr. Duoc, a tea expert, farmer, and Vietnam War veteran that will greet you with homemade treats and stories of his experience throughout the war.
- After his fascinating tales, make your way to his tea plantation, the largest in Ri village, where you'll learn from locals how to pick the best leaves.
- Continue to the house of Mrs. Chin to watch her cook, and try and help her out, before sitting in her lush back garden to enjoy your traditional regional meal.
- Rest a bit before she takes you through her village, introducing you to villagers that make tofu, remove the shells from rice, and the local handyman that fixes all sorts of things.
- Hop on a bike to cycle country lanes and through rice paddies before meeting Mr. Chau, a Muong man that has prepared an herbal blend for soaking your feet.
- End the day with a private boat ride down the Da River, enjoying your scenic views of the splendid beauty around you.
- Relax under one of the area's largest and oldest trees before returning to Mai Chau.

Day 3 - Hoa Binh Lake and Fairy Pond Boat Tour
- Enjoy breakfast before you take a boat trip down the Da River to Vietnam's largest lake, savoring the serene cruise over its glittering waters.
- Disembark to visit some of the nearby floating houses and meet some local fisherman that will tell you about their daily life.
- Continue to Ngoi Hoa Bay for a 15 minute hike to the incomparable Fairy Pond, an untouched and pristine marvel with jade waters and ethereal trees scattered along the coast, and often wreathed in mist.
- Spend some time appreciating these stunning views before you return to the resort in Mai Chau for an afternoon on your own.

Day 4 - Mai Chau Cycling Tour
- Your half day cycling tour starts after lunch in Mai Chau, leaving you the morning free to rise late or explore the village more.
- Leave the village behind as you escape into the valley nearby, immersing yourself in the pastoral and tranquil beauty of this emerald-hued region.
- You first stop is the Lac village where you'll see farmers working in their fields and the grazing livestock to learn more about daily life in this rural locale.
- Make your way to some of the other villages that are home to a number of ethnic minorities, including Cha Long and Tòng Đậu to learn about these people and their cultures.
- Once the cycling tour is over, you can explore these quaint hamlets before returning to Mai Chau.

Day 5 - Mai Chau Trekking Tour
- Have some breakfast before driving to Mai Ha village to trek to Kha village and its tranquil lake that make up the heart of Mai Chau.
- This lake provides all of the water in the Van Mai valley, and the livelihood of all the farmers that live here.
- You'll see a number of White Thai villages, taking time to interact with the locals that work in the forests and fields surrounding you.
- Take short breaks along the way to drink tea and chat with these people before heading into the jungle for Te village.
- Spend time with a Thai family and learn about their culture, finishing the morning with a picnic lunch before returning to Mai Chau.

Day 6- Transfer to Hanoi
- After breakfast at the Mai Chau Hideaway, spend the day exploring the village before you drive back to Hanoi.
- Enjoy some leisure time in Hanoi once you've arrived.

Day 7 - Ha Long Bay Cruise
- Spend the day enamored of the beautiful views and landscapes of the UNESCO Site of Ha Long Bay, meeting the cruise team after breakfast for a transfer to the port.
- Drive across the Red River Delta, a fertile corner of the county chock-full of emerald green rice paddies.
- Once you're on the boat, admire the limestone rocks and karst grottoes that surround the shimmering waters of the bay below.
- Take some time to refresh with a locally-caught seafood lunch on deck before heading to one of the areas most famous caves.
- You can either swim or kayak to the nearby floating markets and villages to get a closer look at these special communities.
- Return to the boat to relax by yourselves or take part in some of the exciting activities arranged by the cruise crew.

Day 8 - Tai Chi Lesson and Transfer to Hanoi
