Start bright and early on your second day of your Best of Cairo 3 Day Tour by heading out to explore the highlight of any visit to Cairo – the Pyramids of Giza. You’ll also see the Valley Temple, one of the oldest in Egypt, and explore the open-air museum and ruins that still remain of Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. You will enjoy an authentic and delicious Egyptian lunch at a restaurant in the village Saqqara and explore this rich archaeological site, home of the tombs of the relatives of Pharaoh, as well as the royal pyramids. It will be a long day, but a marvelous one, full of ancient treasures brought to life.

On the final day of your tour, you will see another side of Cairo. Visit the Egyptian Museum, one of the most famous antiquities museums in the world, to see more ancient treasures on display. Next, you’ll explore the Citadel of Saladin, which was the center of the Egyptian government for hundreds of years. Architecture and design lover will find their niche in the next part of the tour, as you discover the beautiful mosques of Islamic Cairo and the many buildings that are part of Coptic Cairo, includes churches and synagogues. After lunch, head to the Khan el Khalili Bazaar, the heart of Islamic Cairo,
and explore the walls of medieval Cairo and the streets that date back to the 10th century.
