Your first stop will be in Aqaba, Jordan’s premier resort town, where you will be able to explore at leisure and stop for lunch. You’ll then head to the unearthly Wadi Rum desert, also known as the “Valley of the Moon”. Here, you’ll spend the night getting acquainted with Bedouin hospitality in a Bedouin Camp. You’ll enjoy a Jeep safari in the area and sleep under the enchanting star-filled desert sky. The following day, you’ll enjoy a fully guided comprehensive tour of Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the New World. The 2000-year-old archaeological rose city is filled with many treasures, and you’ll see the most famous and important highlights of the area. On the third day, you’ll have free time in Petra, giving you the chance to explore some of the lesser-known parts of this 260-square-kilometer site that most tourists don’t make it to. 3 Day Petra & Wadi Rum Tour from Eilat Itinerary

Day 1 - Wadi Rum

07:45 – Pick up from Club Hotel Eilat. Centralized pickups reduce time and make for the earliest arrival to the border, maximizing the time spent in Jordan. Eilat is a small city and our pickup is within 5 minute walk from almost all hotels
08:00 – Border crossing into Jordan with assistance
09:15 – Head towards Aqaba from the border for free time to enjoy the city, explore the market. or have lunch
Please note: During this time, there will be a range of activities on offer for an additional charge. This includes a visit to a private beach and pool, or a boat ride on the Red Sea
12:15 – Transfer to Wadi Rum
13:00 – Check in to Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum. Enjoy free time in Wadi Rum. Optional activities can be arranged on the spot include camel rides, hiking, and more
15:00 – Jeep Safari tour in Wadi Rum with your local Bedouin guide
19:00 – Authentic Jordanian Dinner at the Bedouin Camp including traditional Zarb(Bedouin barbecue), spreads, salads, bread, and more

Day 2 - Wadi Rum to Petra

Optional early morning camel ride at sunrise
07:00 – Breakfast at leisure in the Bedouin campsite
08:00 – Transfer to Petra including a view of Mount Haroun
9:30 – Arrive in Petra and begin your guided tour of the famous sites such as al Siq, the Petra Treasury, the Obelisk Tomb, the Calligraphy, Jabal Madbach (sacrificial palace), the Tombs, the Theater, and the Mountaintop Tombs; the guided tour will be approximately 2 hours
16:00 - Lunch in a local resturant
18:00 - Transfer to your hotel in Petra
You have the option to experience The Petra by Night tour which can be arranged locally on the spot. Only available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Day 3 - Petra

After having breakfast in the hotel, our bus will pick you up at 09:00 and you'll be heading to enjoy a free day at your own pace in Petra. Plenty of time to hike to the Monastery or visit more sites within the lost city of Petra
Exit Petra at 18:00 and head back to the border return to Eilat, having the once-in-a-lifetime experience you will never forget

Maximum of 25 passengers per group (in Petra). Please note that while in transportation, groups may be larger. We find that larger buses are more comfortable and accommodating.

Please note, border fee is NOT included in the tour price and is paid directly at the border, in cash. Border fee is for departure tax from Israel, the departure tax for operated groups from Jordan, arrangement, and preparation of Jordan visa, assistance service from border representative on departure from Israel, assistance service from border representative on arrival in Jordan, and assistance service from border representative on departure from Jordan.

Please note that during Ramadan the tour itinerary will change due to earlier closure of the border.

In winter months, overnight might be in hotel in Aqaba (in double room) due to low temperatures in the Bedouin camp.
