Paphos International Airport is the second-largest international gateway of Cyprus. The airport is managed by Hermes Airports Limited, and handles both daily and seasonal flights. An array of facilities and amenities are available, contributing to a pleasant experience. At present, there are nine airlines offering routes to 20 countries. The major airlines operating are Ryanair, Thomson Airlines, Transaero, and Easy Jet. A variety of other carriers offer seasonal flights. Getting to and from Paphos Airport is easy – here’s how!

Where is Paphos Airport Located?
Paphos International Airport is located 7 km to the southeast of Paphos. It is relatively smaller than Larnaca, but caters to a significant amount of passengers nonetheless. When heading to western Cyprus, toward Paphos, Limassol, Coral Bay, Polis, and Pissouri, this is your best choice.
Paphos Airport Terminals
The airport has only one terminal for passengers, but is adequately equipped with necessary facilities. It has 7 boarding gates, 28 check-in desks, and 4 luggage carousels. The terminal offers access to facilities such as banking, first-aid, CIP lounge, and baggage wrapping. In addition, there are play areas, changing units, and a variety of duty-free shops and food options.
Getting from Paphos Airport to Paphos
The bus is the only available public transport option, with two lines that operate from the airport to the city. Bus 612 runs 24/7 between the airport and Paphos Harbor. Meanwhile, Bus 613 operates between the airport and Paphos city center. The journey take around 35 minutes to reach the city and cost around 1.50-2.50€.
If you have children or lots of luggage, a private ride to the city is your best choice. A taxi or private transfer will cost around 35€. You can easily find taxis waiting outside, or book beforehand, which is more cost-effective. Otherwise, you have the option of renting a car directly from the airport if you prefer to travel at your own pace. A private ride will only take around 20 minutes to reach the city center.
Getting from Paphos Airport to Limassol
Limassol is approximately 60 km from Paphos Airport, which is closer than the distance from Larnaca Airport. If you’re hoping to use public transport, you’ll have to switch between two buses and the journey will take more than 2 hours. For this reason, an airport shuttle is more convenient. Limassol Airport Express runs every 30 minutes from 6 AM to 6 PM. It costs 4€ per child and 9€ per adult and you can reach the city within 45 minutes.
The most convenient option is to book a taxi, either by pre-booking or hailing one upon arrival. You can reach Limassol within 40 minutes for around 40€. It’s important to consider that buses don’t operate at night, so a taxi may be necessary. The other option is to rent a car – which is convenient to explore the city during your stay!
