The building structure is quite unusual integrating vertical lines and a mix of ramps and escalators to connect the separate floors. This mega-complex is the merger between the Takashimaya Department store and mall which is in close proximity to Shinjuku Station (south exit). Situated along the Tama River, this newer mall structure is designed to offer something for everyone. The building is large and spacious and blends indoor and outdoor spaces maximizing on space.
